What is the transponder check on Friday?2025-03-19T12:53:29+00:00

Before we start racing we like to check that all race cars have a working transponder and that its number is entered correctly in our timing & scoring system. We usually do this on the pit lane timing loop but the location can vary based on the tracks layout and where their loop(s) are installed. We’ll let you know the exact location during Friday mornings drivers meeting and if you need to wear a helmet or not.  A pit marshal will be present and let you know if your transponder is all set. We’ll also check that you have one of our RFID tags on your windshield and we may also check that your Flagger is working.
