Registration FAQ
- Go HERE and create an account
- Notify the team captain that you have done so and they should add you to the team AND the registered car.
- When the team captain does those two things you will immediately get an email with a link to our eWaiver.
- Sign and submit the eWaiver promptly.
- Come to check in at the event and receive a red wrist band and event shirt (if the captain added you at least 10 days before the event)
You can not change your status yourself. The status for new accounts is Crew by default. When you are added to a registration you appear on our list of unapproved drivers and we will contact you to check your qualifications. If we approve you to race with us we will change your status to Driver. If you would like to expedite this process you can email us HERE and we will contact you.
You can not join a team yourself. You should contact the team captain, of the team you plan to race with, so they can add you to the team.
Make sure you are logged to our registration system and go to Change Teams -> + Create A New Team
- Click Edit Team Settings to add a team image, info and links (these are optional)
- Click Manage Cars to add a car to your team.
- Click Manage Members to add people with AER accounts as Drivers and Crew to your team.
Go HERE and click Register next to the event you are interested in.
During the process you’ll select:
- the car
- drivers
- crew
- pitt box
- garage (where available)
- tech time slot (if need be)
- Make sure that they have an account with AER
- From your team dashboard click Manage Members.
- Click in the text field that says Add Team Members
- Type some or all of their name
- Select them from the search results
- Click Add
Internet Explorer is not compatible with our registration system. If you are having trouble selecting the car or drivers during registration and are using IE that may be the issue. Try using Chrome or register from your phone.

- Go to your Team Dashboard
- Click Manage Members
- Next to the Member you wish to make co-captain click the arrow and select Make Captian
- Go to your Team Dashboard
- Find the event under Upcoming Registered Events
- Under Drivers & Crew select Edit Drivers & Crew
- Go to your Team Dashboard
- Find the event under Upcoming Registered Events
- Under Pit Boxes, Garages, Tech Slots select Edit Selections
- Email AER HERE to get a discount code to register the car free of charge.
- Get the car teched at one of our approved shops or make arrangements to get it teched at the event
- Arrange for the car to have its own transponder (you can not transfer the transponder from your primary car during the event)
- Make sure AER puts an RFID tag on its windshield
- At the event notify AER when you wish to switch to your backup car
Make sure you are registered AND everyone that will be attending have been added to the registration by the shirt order deadline whichh is usually about 10 days before the event.
If you cancel your registration, by emailing [email protected], more than thirty days from the scheduled start of the event, you have the choice of receiving a cash refund less a $100 processing fee, or alternatively a credit of the entire amount that can be used towards another AER race within twelve months. If you cancel your registration within thirty days of the start of the event, you will receive a 75% credit towards another AER event within twelve months.

Go to your team’s dashboard and under Upcoming Registered Events, check that all your drivers and crew have been added to the event registrations. If someone is missing add them there
When you registered you were emailed our eWaiver. Make sure you signed it

If youre a driver bring your helmet.
Every driver gets a RFID tag (sticker) placed on their helmet. We probably have one made up for you but if you fell through the cracs its easy for us to make you one on the spot.
Yes. We usually tech cars Thursday eventing and Friday morning.

This is an open track session for any driver who is signed up to race at the event to get track time.
Any track appropriate car: your primary race car, backup race car, track car or street car.
Yes. One passenger is allowed with a helmet. This is a great time to get some coaching or show a team mate the track.
