AER 2020 Event Supplement

  • There will be a open track test day on Friday, 6/5/20 from 11:00am – 7:00pm run by Nelson Ledges.  The cost is $350/car and will be collected at the gate.

  • If you are not attending the track day on Friday you may enter after 5:00pm.

  • Camping is provided courtesy of AER on Friday and Saturday nights. This means the gate will be open and staffed on those nights so you may come and go.

  • 93 octane unleaded gas will be available to purchase at the track

  • Saturday morning we will set classes and grid based on past experienced, performance and best guess for the Saturday afternoon race. After that race we will run our classing analysis software on the data from that race to see how we did and make changes based on those results. Sunday’s grid and classing will be based on that.

  • Two, 3 minute stops are required during Saturday’s race

  • We will have a small trophy for that Saturday race.

  • Five, 3 minute stops are required during Sunday’s race

  • Summit Racing Equipement’s mobile store will be on site and facilitating parts runs to their flagship store all weekend.

COVID-19 Policies

  • Face covers required.
    -Must cover nose and mouth
    -AER branded masks will be provided
    -You may use your own
    -Helmet with visor down is acceptable
    -Balaclava that covers nose and mouth acceptable

  • Social distancing enforced

  • No hand shakes, high fives or hugs.

  • Wash or sanitize hands regularly

  • Check-in will take place outdoors and be contactless

  • Drivers meetings will be held online

  • Limit socializing outside of your team

  • Spread out in the paddock as best you can

  • Participation is at your own risk. Attendee’s with higher risk factors for COVID19 infection must evaluate their own risk regarding participation at any race event. If attendee develops fever, cough, or other symptoms of possible COVID19 infection, prior to, at or enroute to the event, attendee should refrain from coming to/participating in race event and seek medical attention instead.

  • Check with your province, state, county regarding reentry and quarantine recommendations prior to leaving for the race event. It is to everyone’s benefit as well as responsibility to limit the spread of the contagion. Because a race is allowed to occur in the state does not mean the risk of contracting the virus and/or spreading it to your friends/family/ co-workers when you arrive back home, is over.
