AER 2020 Event Supplement
October 23 – 25, 2020
Everyone entering Mid Ohio Sports Car Course must present a filled out and signed Medical Health Assessment form and Liability Waiver. You can find them here:
Temperatures will be checked at the gate and must be less than 100.4 to be admitted.
You may enter the paddock after 3:00pm on Thursday.
Camping is provided courtesy of AER on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights. This means the gate will be open and staffed on those nights so you may come and go.
All campers, motor homes, toterhomes or 5^” wheel trailers will be assessed a $25 “RV parking pass” fee by Mid O. Tents are excluded from this fee
Electric at $50 per hookup and 220v Electric at $100 per hookup must be arranged
ten (10) days prior to event with Mid O. (Locations and spaces are very limited).Garages are available to rent for $100 and $200 for the whole event. Garage and Pit Box sign ups are available in our registration system once you are paid in full.
Garage rentals include the parking spot directly opposite the garage. Please do not occupy these spots if you did not rent the associated garage.
Any charges associated with registering pit vehicles are the responsibility of the participants.
Race Car Tech
- We will be teching race cars in the upper upper paddock on Friday from 8:00am – 12:00pm

- We will not be reserving time slots. Tech will be performed on a first come first serve basis
- If you have an AER tech sticker from a previous year join the line to the left when you enter the area and we will give you a quick look to make sure nothing has changed and get you on your way
- Cars that are new to AER will join the line to the right to get a full inspection
The flying of any drones is strictly prohibited
No smoking anywhere on pit road.
Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required to access pit road.
You are responsible for all damages you cause at the following rate:
- Oil Dry – $20/bag (Based on actual usage)
- Damaged guard rail replacement – $1,000.00 per section
- Damaged concrete barrier replacement – $1,000.00 per section
- Damaged tire wall bundle replacement – $500.00 per bundle
- Damaged debris fencing replacement – $1,000 per section
- Damaged conveyor belting replacement – $100.00 per foot
- Damaged catch fence post replacement – $100.00 per post
- Fire incident – $300.00 per fire bottle
- Damaged tow strap – $50 per tow strap
We will be using the chicane between Turn 1 and The Keyhole (aka “Club Course”)
Summit Racing Equipment‘s mobile store will be in attendance again this year.
- They will be taking orders each day to be delivered the next morning
- They will be will be offering an event discount for orders placed during the weekend at the truck
- Stop by the truck to pick up a catalog and discount code for future orders

Royale Race Tires will be providing tire support at this event.
- 12pm – 8pm Friday
- 8am – 8pm Saturday
- 8am- 12pm Sunday
- Mount & Balance: $35/tire
- Miscellaneous Service: $20
Note: RRT will offer a discount of $10/tire on M&B work for all participants who buy tires direct from RRT. Tires can be pre-ordered for track delivery HERE.
COVID-19 Policies
This event it private. No visitors or spectators allowed.
Do not bring or invite non essential team mates, crew, friends or family.
Face masks required.
-Must be worn to enter facility
-AER branded masks will be available to purchase
-Must cover nose and mouth
-Helmet with visor down is acceptable
-Balaclava that covers nose and mouth acceptableSocial distancing enforced.
-Maintain six feet + social distancing whenever possibleNo hand shakes, high fives or hugs.
Wash or sanitize hands regularly.
Check-in will take place outdoors and be contactless.
Drivers meetings will be held over PA and radio.
Limit socializing outside of your team.
Spread out in the paddock as best you can.
Participation is at your own risk. Attendee’s with higher risk factors for COVID-19 infection must evaluate their own risk regarding participation at any race event. If attendee develops fever, cough, or other symptoms of possible COVID-19 infection, prior to, at or enroute to the event, attendee should refrain from coming to/participating in race event and seek medical attention instead.
Check with your province, state, county regarding reentry and quarantine recommendations prior to leaving for the race event. It is to everyone’s benefit as well as responsibility to limit the spread of the contagion. Because a race is allowed to occur in the state does not mean the risk of contracting the virus and/or spreading it to your friends/family/ co-workers when you arrive back home, is over.
